Reffner on a Roll at MMS!

The D & D Amusement Games Super Stocks took the track for their feature event, here tonight, on what ended up a beautiful night for racing. Aaron Anderson and Ryan Mork would lead the way to the green flag. Mork took the early lead, however, Anderson fought his way back and made the pass of Mork. Continuing to lead, Anderson, who also won his heat race, set the pace leading the first ten laps with Mork on his rear bumper. Working his way through the field was that of Stevens Point driver, Matt Raykowski. Raykowski captured the second spot, with a pass of Mork, at the halfway point of the feature event. With a caution coming out on lap 11 for the spin of Erin Schlough, Anderson’s lead diminished and the field of cars was once again drawn together. On the restart, point leader Colin Reffner quickly shot to the lead with Mork running second. Wisconsin Rapids driver Brian Weinfurter worked his way pass Mork and set his sights on Reffner. The two drivers would battle for the lead with Reffner gaining advantage on the straightway and Weinfurter closing in the corners.

Meanwhile, with Reffner and Weinfurter battling for first, Raykowski worked his way pass Mork for the third position. As it appeared there would be no more passing and the driver’s position status quo, that’s exactly how the race ended. Reffner, Weinfurter, and Raykowski were the top three drivers here tonight in a very competitive D & D Amusement Games feature event. Ryan Mork finished an impressive fourth, with Marshfield driver Kyle Davis having a great run finishing fifth
