Former Marshfield Track Champion Tim Hintz Returns to Action and Wins Feature at MMS!

When the D&D Amusement Games Super Stocks took to the track, it was Claire & Paige Decker leading the field to the green flag.  Claire Decker led lap one with Ryan Hinner looking to take the lead.  One lap later, Hinner did exactly that, took the lead with an outside pass exiting turn four.  Hinner would continue to lead for the next four laps; that’s when Tim Hintz powered his way into the catbird seat.  Hintz, making his first appearance of the season in the super stock division, looked fast all night.

Randall Wilhorn followed suit with Hintz and made the pass on Hinner.  With great racing for all positions, the focus was on Randall Wilhorn and Tim Hintz.  Hintz appeared to be enjoying a comfortable lead, however, it was apparent that Wilhorn was cutting into the veteran driver’s lead.  For Wilhorn, he just fell short of laps to get to Hintz’s back bumper as Tim Hintz once again visited the B&B Race Engines victory lane.  With Wilhorn finishing second, heat winner Erin Schlough coming home third, Ryan Hinner and Paige Decker rounding out the top five.

Hintz also captured the LiveWire Energy Chews Dash 4 Cash with Mike Gwidt earning the fast time award.  Gwidt was unable to compete in the feature as he had engine troubles develop in heat action.
